Mason Metals Ltd today became the first scrap metal recycler listed on the trustatrader.com website. Designed to reassure the public when searching for local traders the badge guarantees public liability insurance, industry association membership, recomendations from previous customers and a pride in the businesses own standards.
We will from time to time give out supplier satisfaction questionaires on behalf of trustatrader; so please spare us 5 minutes to give us your opions on how you rated your customer experience.
We hope our membership will further enhance the difference between a legal authorised metal recycling business and the current spate of unlicenced so called traders currently giving the industry a bad name and fuelling recent bad press.
If you visit a site which doesn't ask you for your name and address, take your vehicle registration and complete a waste transfer note listing the type, weight and value of your transaction - this is not a legal transaction. Like wise leaving items by the roadside without knowing who might take them and where they may go is also not fulfilling your duty of care to the environment as a householder. If you have any domestic white goods that need recycling and you need them collected visit our "Domestic Recycling" page and we can arrange a collection for you - which will leave you with a completed waste transfer note for your records.
